Main Bar B1:MainBar

Length of B1 = clear span + 2 x width of walls – 2 x bar cover + 2 x bend length

=4000+2*230-2*32+2*9*16=4684mm

or

Length of B1 =clear span +development length -bend(90 deg)

=4000+2*50d-2*2d=5536 mm

Anchor bar T1:Anchor Bar

Length of T1=clear span + 2 x width of walls – 2 x bar cover + 2 x bend length

=4000+2*230-2*32+2*9*12=4612mm

or

Length of T1 =clear span +development length -bend(90 deg)

=4000+2*50d-2*2d=4000+2*50*12-2*2*12=5152mm

Cranked bars:

Cranked BarLength B2= clear span +18d+0.42D,

where D= Depth of beam – 2*(top  & bottom cover)-crank bar

=4000+18*12+0.42*(450-2*25-12)

= 4379mm

Stirrups:

a=450-25*2=400mm

b=300-2*25=250mm

Length of S1=2*(a+b)+24d

=2*(400+250)+24*8

=1492mm

or

Length of S1 = 2*(a+b)+hook-bend, where hook = 10d, bend for 90 deg=2d, for 135deg=3d. There are three 90 deg bend and two 135 deg bend.

=2*(400+250)+(10*8*2)-(3*8*2)-(2*8*3)=1364mm

No. of stirrup= Length/ Spacing +1=4000/180+1=24
